I've never believed we have to choose just one version of ourselves.

For more than a decade, I built my career in corporate America. It challenged me, stretched me, and gave me experiences I'll always be grateful for. But somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn't just looking for my next job. I wanted to build a different kind of life.

So I decided to bet on myself.

Not because I had everything figured out. I definitely didn't. I just knew there was more I wanted to create, experience, and become.

Today, I'm building Twelve Nineteen Enterprise, a collection of businesses and ideas centered around entrepreneurship, opportunity, and community. One of those ideas is Twelve19 Connect, a platform created to connect women with the businesses, experiences, resources, and stories that help us build fuller lives and stronger communities.

Community has always been an important part of my life and my work. I currently serve on the board of Communities In Schools of North Carolina, supporting an organization committed to helping students have the resources and relationships they need to succeed.

Over the years, I've realized my work was never supposed to fit neatly into one box. I love building. I love bringing people together. I love telling stories. And I love creating things that have the potential to mean something to someone else.

This website is where all of those parts of me come together.
